HEALTH FAIR AT LONDON:
More than 13,000 Londoners attended 46 local health fairs between February and April 2009 to learn more about Healthcare for London’s stroke and major trauma consultation and other local health services.
The health fairs were held in range of venues, aimed at maximising visitor numbers. Some health fairs featured an outdoor mobile unit, which was located in town centres and supermarket car parks. Exhibition stands were also positioned in public venues such as shopping centres, hospitals, town halls, places of worship and health centres.
At these events, over 11,500 consultation documents were distributed with over 1,500 consultation questionnaires filled out on site.

13,000 is a pretty good turnout. We really need to promote more awareness about stoke and trauma responses here in the USA. Many people don't realize when they are having a stroke because they don't recognize stroke symptoms. More public awareness would be good. _________________ http://ce4less.com |
