Plan B is a form of emergency contraception that you can buy at the drugstore. You do not need a prescription from a doctor if you are 17 years or older (it used to be 18). If you are younger than 17, go to a health clinic and ask for the “morning-after-pill”.

Plan B is a pill that you can take if you had unprotected sex, or your birth control failed (the condom broke or fell off during sex, for instance). It is best to take the pill as soon as possible, but it may work up to 5 days after sex.
