Use latex or polyurethane surgical gloves for fingering a female. Find out why at: www.positive.org/JustSayYes/moresafe.html

thanks-I still dont get why you *cant* use dishwashing gloves, maybe I missed something. I'd figure the rippling on them would feel good too...

not that the dishwashing gloves don't sound like a good idea... but for the sake of safety, the glove need to be clean each time, so unless you have a fresh pair every time, (a rather expesive habit) those gloves might not be the best idea...

I can't see why polyurethane gloves would be a problem, but I'm no chemist. Perhaps it has to do with the permiablitiy of the material; semipermeable membranes will block some molecules while letting others in. This seems a bit unlikely, however. (Note: I was unable to find the part that said why polyurethane gloves do not work.)

But i seen on porn.. they hace sex w/o condoms and they lick eachothers parts and nothing goes wrong for them? I have also seen the girl swallow.. nothing wrong with them?

EDIT: Umm.. can you use any bag.. for example a white clear plastic bag.. or does it have to be a glove or plastic wrapping?

I know that some folks in the porn industry have rules about getting tested pretty regularly for STD's - this doesn't mean they're always as safe as they should be, but they have to be pretty careful, or else no one would want to work for them!

Some people, if they are sleeping with only one person and absolutely certain that that person isn't sleeping with anyone else and doesn't have any STD's, will have sex without any protection from STD's. It's always up to you and your partner if you want to take that risk.

Plastic bags can tear more easily than latex gloves, so it's safest to use latex or polyurethane gloves. But plastic bags may be able to work too.

Why shouldn't you finger a chick who's on her period? I mean vag fluids carry std's also I don't understand... also everytime my boyfriend has fingered me we've never used rubber gloves what can happen from that?
